Atlas lions Football Club Over Thirty (Players are 30 years old and up) was established in 2008. It is part of the Fort Bend Adult Soccer Association (FBASA). The team includes players from Morocco, USA, Mexico and Europe. Most Atlas Lions F.C. players have been playing at the FBASA league for the past 10 years.
Atlas Lions F.C. plays at the lost Creek park in Sugar Land, direction and schedule are posted on
www.fbasa.com. Atlas Lions would like to invite all soccer fans to stop by and cheer, and also have a good family time at the park. Occasionally, Atlas Lions organizes picnics and BBQs after the games.
Last season the team clinched the second position in the league at one point behind the leader.
Atlas Lions is planning to participate in the Atlas Cup tournament which will be held in Memorial weekend 2010 in New York. The winner of the tournament in which more than 10 teams from all over the States participate, will win a ticket to participate in the Finals of the ATLAS Cup in Morocco in Summer 2010.
